Fall Color in Northern UT, 09.15

Some months ago I got pitched a free two-night stay by a very nice and successful sales woman from Hilton Grand Resorts. The catch: TIMESHARE PRESENTATION. I selected Park City, UT – I had never been there  – and picked some dates that would hopefully land me in some fall color in the high mountains.

This was my first ‘destination’ vacation. Eg: fly in, stay, fly out. Not my normal cup of tea and I can understand the allure in some regards but not something I would do again in the near future.  That said, the timeshare presentation was no pressure and relatively enjoyable. Perhaps sometime in the future it would make more sense for me. Right now I like hauling all my gear, art supplies, legos, etc.

Onto the color!

I had a route planned for the drive in, and that was enjoyable and yielded some nice hits of color. I found a couple other 1-2 hour drives and set off for a wander. I drove in via Hwy 92 through Sundance and then up Hwy 189. Later I drove out to Mirror Lake and then up and over Guardsman Pass and found some great sights and nice enjoyable drives. I would certainly head that way again, but likely in my Tundra. Ok, enough about that, enjoy the pics.
